It appears you might have a code reader or scanner. It it happens to be Torque Pro, you might take a look at this Torque Pro dashboard. It should give some ideas of what all you can check.

P0446 indicates an electrical circuit fault. It's not a missing gas cap or malfunctioning flapper.

Check the connector at the CV solenoid, make sure it's clean and is properly seated.
Check the coil resistance of the CV solenoid. Should be around 55 +/- 10 ohms.
Verify battery power on the rd/ye wire (KOEO) at the CV solenoid.
Check continuity of the vt/wh wire from the solenoid back to PCM connector C175B pin 61.

After that, it gets harder and you'll need to follow the diagnostic in the manual.

Just got this code and I own a 2007 F150. Been watching you tube videos about this code, and it could mean that the purple or green wire that plugs into the canister could have corroded. The canister sits right in front of the spare tire and the wire harness plugs on top of it . You'll have to drop the spare tire to get to it. I would start there first, it's the cheapest fix. Pull on the green or purple wire to see if it disconnects if one or both of them do, then that's your problem. Just reconnect it.

yep I know it's an old thread. Just putting that out there for the people who are getting the code in 2023. When you search the problem these pages still show up on the Google search. 🍻
