Default Overhead Rail System Mods????

Has anyone done anything cool with the rails up there? I've been trying to do some research to see if there were ever any accessories to be installed on those rails, but it doesn't seem like too many are available.....if at all.....
I keep hearing things about JCI, and Myron and Davis, and Brandmotion but nothing can ever be found.....

Just curious, I just want to see if anyone has came up with any creative ideas

I've never seen any accessories for the roof rack. The roof rack seems like such a rare option anyway so I'm not surprised.

You could fab up your own lightbar to attach to it or something.

Oooohh good call.

Yeah not really any aftermarket stuff AFAIK. Pretty much just dvd player or a sunglass holder.

Correct, I was talking about the interior. All I've seen is a dvd player and sunglass holder also. Apparently they had a blutooth accessory module that would work up there, but I've only seen pics never any for sale.

Just curious if anyone has made any sort of mechanism to lock into the rail....I was thinking of making something to hang my maglight....I don't know yet just want to do something and need ideas

While I have not done anything with the overhead rail in my truck it might be something that many don't know is that the DVD for the overhead rail includes a RCA AUX INPUT. That many want to use for IPODS.

What would be a cool idea is to get LED light strips and putting them up along the rails and wire them to come on with the interior lights! Definately bring a lot more light into the cab!
Or you could do that and take out the bulbs of the current interior overhead lights so its just the led that comes on
