Overhead map lights
2006 SCrew, 4x2
Initial problem: Overhead map lights don't work when you push them. They both work when opening the door, or using the rotary dimmer switch on the light switch.
Started looking for a blown fuse labeled map lights, no such labeling.
Fuse #24, 20a, was blown. This fuse is identified as "Battery Saver Power for Demand Lamps" in my owners manual. Constant power, not switched. When i install a new fuse, it pops immediately.
So.....the question is, what does this circuit do, does it control the map lights, and where do I start looking for a short?
The manual says that this should be a 15a fuse, so somewher in the past, it was changed.
Thanks
Ken
