Default Outside air temp

My 2005's outside air temp display is not working correctly all the time. At times it's reading the correct temp., ie; 70 degrees. Then it will be reading 130 degrees. I'm thinking the temp sensor is bad. Is the sensor mounted on the vertical support behind the grill? There are two thing mounted there. which one is it?
Thanks!!!!!

It is a "vertical" looking tube mounted behind the grill, as you stated. See the pic below.

Mine was always reading in the 130's, and I replaced it and it works great now...

Is there any adjustment if it consistently reads a few degrees high or low?
