do under drive pulleys when you do the efans. your all ready pulling the shroud and fan out for the efans, thats the hardest part of doing UD pulleys

but with the added stress on the battery with electric fans, using the alternator underdrive pulley might not be too smart.

thats why i said get the dcc and not just some POS relay like all the other kits use. the dcc runs the fan according to the temp of the water going back into the motor. the more efficient the radiator is (ie the faster you go) the slower the fans run....or not at all if need be. 2 years going strong with my setup, still get 14v at idle with stereo and head lights on.

and the UD pulley kits ive seen for our trucks is just a crank and wp pulley. alt pulley stays stock so the speed of the alt doesnt slow as much as if the kit replaced the crank, wp and alt pulleys

the quality of the fan(s) has a huge effect. stock fans from other cars such as the lincoln fan or taurus fan have much much higher amperage draw then a quality aftermarket fan. i run twin procomp fans that pull only about 10amps when theyre at full speed which they rarely run at (only when the ac compressor is on)

i plan on doing the lights behind the grill and a bull bar but then i thought why put them behing the grill if im just going to put a bull bad and have to move them in front of it i thought about doing the under drive pulleys and forced induction is way out of my price range (one income family with 2 kids and big doc bills for my wife) but thanks for the help
