Old vs new
Time time again I ask myself should I keep Rollin my almost mint 04,(which I have 2 years left to pay on due to a x wife) or should I upgrade to a newer model.. Price tags keep climbing on these half tons. Anyone else had these thoughts..aka dreams...?

O don't get me wrong minus my tan cloth interior I love my truck. I'm at 94k It would've been paid off this year but I had to swallow some debit during my divorce.. Makes me think what's another 6yrs in payments for something shinny. Lol. Same thing I have same options. Only new Is like 37k sticker. That's crazy then if I want leather. It's 43k.

I Like Tires
I'm keeping this thing till the wheels fall off or the motor goes out! And then I would just rebuild it! Seriously I don't want any other truck! This is my baby!
The next truck I get will be strictly for work, this truck is for fun and looks! I'm plan to pass this truck down

Same here.. I'm taking this truck to its grave... It's just not worth the outrageous sticker price to start making payments... Plus I'm just not the biggest fan of the new body style... I love the 09 interior however... And the raptor of course...
If I start up payments on anything, it's gonna be on a vehicle that pays the bills... Like an F350 for plowing, scrap metal recovery, and towing. I've been doing this stuff just fine with my paid for dodge rams, so there is no point for me. With this economy I would be steering clear of any debt other then basic reoccurring debt (phone, utilities, insurance) and save the money.

I love my 04 fx4 and still have about 2 years to pay it off and she's a keeper... The only thing I would like to do is center console swap with the 09 model...
I have seen someone on the forums swapping an XLT column shifter to a 09 center console shifter and everything! Haven't done that much research into it yet but I would bet that it wouldn't be that hard

I don't really dig the new body style or payments. If you bought a new one you then gotta spend some cash to get the look you want-rims, tires, lift, stereo etc. The truck you got looks pretty good to me!

I've just got the new bug bc my girlfriend is buying a new explorer and my brother is buying a new diesel. I agree the payments would not be fun to pay, if I pay double I could pay this off in one year instead of two. It's Friday I need a beer. Lol
