That happened to me with my previous car, new one ended up being cheaper. Sucks that I lost money trading it in though.

I got a sweet deal on my truck. $14,700 for a 3 year old truck with 48k and all the options I wanted and in great shape.

That mite be a option as well I also get employee pricing, something with leather mite be in the future.... If they can't get me a deal I'm fine with mine. The 13's are priced about 6k more sticker than the 12's another example of inflation. Lol.

I have an 04 FX4 the body is still mint and I recently had to spend 4G on a reman engine I installed myself to save some $$$ and Im going through the big D too. I would have had mine paid off 3 years ago but had to refi back then just so I could keep her. A dealer is gonna offer you 10G probably and at that price you are giving your truck away! I am keeping mine and gonna buy a new mustang or taurus SHO when I get this blood sucking leech of a wife off my back!!

Ugh exwives huh? Mine has left me with her vehicle that she just had to have no matter what. Now I am upside down in it and have to get rid of it. Thankfully I sold my truck and got about $3000 of positive equity out of it. Now I gotta trade this damn pilot in on another truck for myself and pray I can brake even with the $3000 cash I'm bringing with me. I now remember why I liked my truck more than her!

I would keep what you have. I personally don't care for the newer body styles, and really love the 04-08s. If there is nothing wrong with what you've got, no reason to pay all that money to get another one. I would also never buy new. To me, yours is just getting broken in! We try to buy cars/trucks in the 50-60K mileage range. I pushed that a bit on my "new to me" 05 SCab that I just got, which had 88K, but I didn't want to pay more than $15K, which is what I could buy cash. I don't plan to ever buy another new car, and I don't plan to ever have another car loan.

Thats exactly what happened to. Me minus the motor issue that sucks, but that's also what I'm afraid of i am maxed out so if that does happen she's parked!! As for the mustang, I've owned some, but now my kids are bigger they don't fit so well, lol. And yes 10800 is what they quoting me.
