Default Oil changes

If you have the 5.4l engine, how often are you guys changing your oil? At 3.5k MI exactly? 5k? Every month? I know that dirty oil can accelerate the cam phaser issue. Also know that companies like jiffy lube back tracked and said to change oil after 5k mi, especially if your using a synthetic blend, what is used in our trucks, or fully synth. What's the max mileage youd push it before changing the oil? Just curious.

I change my oil no more than 4k miles, I use chevron 5w-30 what the manual recommends I have the 5.4L with 140k on the clock.

5,000 miles on 5w-20 synthetic and a motorcraft filter.
You might hear that you can go 10k, but that is crazy in my mind.
Anything before 5k, and you are just wasting money.

After all the time and money I have invested in the timing components, phasers,VCT solenoids I will NOT go a single mile over 3k using MC 5-20 oil and filter.
