Avoid the sludge completely. Use whale oil and baby seal oil.

No drilling, so it doesn't screw up the environment, and it REALLY pisses off peta. Nice smell out of the exhaust to boot.

im gonna run wolfs head in my stuff, and go 5 or 6k and i bet itll come out as clean as it went in.
dude im an oil changer, ya its a job for a moron but i deal with this stuff every day. it makes me sick to see a newer car come in with black gunk all over the rockerarms!! and they always run pennzoil. but the valv and cast cars oil looks better comin out than the other crap does goin in!!

buy the way every cars standerds are diff. cadies and vets for example void the warrante if run anything but mobil1

I run Quaker State (Q). Just turned 3000 miles on the oil and it is not at all black. Looks great actually.

And dude, the first two replies to your thread here answer your question..

well when your motor needs work take a good look at it when your in there, the internals will be black . i thought all oils dide that till i changed the oil pump on a dodge with300k,the internals were light gold. he ran castrol. all im sayin is some oils are cleaner than others, and in my opinion valv and cast are the best in the world. thats all i got to say about that.

Uh, I think I said that. My comment of "third world oils" refered to cheap oils that could sludge, or too long of an oil change interval.

i have v8 4.6. i put 5 w 20 mobil 1 full synthetic. just want to find out, how many Q/ you guys put in the engine 6 or 7?

dang...another oil thread??.... throw some royal purple in that bish and go with a k&n oil filter... dont worry about it again drive 10k repeat process...haha


...or just go to your local beach...and find a couple black ducks scrape them down
