Default oil

I have a 2005 supercrew lariat 4x4 with the 5.4 V8. It has 108k miles on it, yes, bought a higher mileage truck than I would have liked but ANYWAY being new to fords, What oil have you high mileage guys had your good luck with? 5w20 I know but still there are LOTS of different types of that weight. Wondering should I let a dealership service it or.......
thanks for the advice as always.

Ive recently switched from Mobil synthetic to motorcraft synthetic due to the $20 difference in price. I'm happy with the change and so is my wallet

You ain't alone, I got a good deal on my 1 owner 05 loaded with the power roof and the DVDs in the headrests and ARE bed cap and 106 thou.
I was just about having to put 2 grand into an 04 Tundra with 90 thou.
I'm going with the Motorcraft Synthetic 5/20 for my first change.
