Default Offset question???

I want to run 18x9 XD addicts with 295/70/r18 Nitto Trial Grappers and just wanted to know what offset would be best. Four wheel parts has the wheel with two offsets or back spacing,
18x9 4.5 backspacing and -12mm offset
18x9 5.71 back spacing and 18mm offset

The truck has a 2" rough country life so i'll be able to clear those tires no problem just wanted to know which of the two would be better.

thanks josh

I would go with the 18x9 +18mm Offset. I just put a set of XD Monsters on my truck and went with the above setup. I also went with the exact same tire and size. If you look in my signature it will show what I went with. I too have a 2" leveling kit but don't be suprised if you have to trim a little since I had to. Here is a post I made after I got my new wheels and tires maybe it will give you some insight.

As mentioned you will probably have to trim a little (lower valence, rear wheel well) but some people who went 2.5" leveling kit did not have to trim anything.

If you go with the -12mm offset you will probably be triming quite a bit due to the tire sticking out to far.

thanks man truck looks awesome that helped out alot. how do you like the ride and the tires? i was a little worried that the larger tread pattern would maybe hum or vibrate while driving.

These tires do have a little road noise but it is not bad at all compared to some. I really don't feel any vibration and with the radio on a little bit the noise is completely cut out.

So far I have been pleased with this tire and so have many other people. My truck rides much better with the 18x9 wheels versus the stock 20's that came on it.

Good Luck be sure to post pic's when you get it all set up.
