Default Offset help

I am looking to get aftermarket 18x9 wheels and I want either a "0" offset or a negative"-" offset because I want my tires to stick out maybe an inch or so. What are you running or do you have any issues with rubbing with a zero or negative offset.

The American Eagle 179 I am looking at has a -12 offset.

Hey look at the thread that talks about fitting rims and tires on your truck, they really have some helpful material in there about this kinda stuff. If you want your wheels to stick out then your definately gonna want negative offset. and less backspacing. I've been racking my brain on this stuff for a few days now because im looking at rims also for my lifted truck. Just trying to get the right ones the first time so i don't have to send them back and wait longer to get the right ones for her. Goodluck!

what size tire were you running???? I too am looking to run a 18x9 with a 0 offset and was planning on running a 295/70/18 nitto trail grappler...the truck is leveled two inches in the front dont think i will have any problems....but with a more negative offset i think it will rub on the fender a little more than i would like
