If you mean protection for your truck while off road then a bull bar with skid plate could work even though it doesnt add too much protection, or a brush guard. If you have some money you could even look at those custom diamond plate bumpers and add a light bar.

Ive seen many people use KC, Hella, and weston lights. I know there are many more but those are the ones i can think of off the top of my head.

I am a big fan of the Hella 700ff, cheap, good projection, and easily converted to HID

I have 130watt KC Slimlights and love them, but if you want bright, go with the Rigid Industries LED lights. My buddy has 4, and holy crap are they bright. About $400 for 4, but they are worth it once you see them in person.

I have 4 Hella Black Magics that I swapped HIDs into. Pretty tricky swap since the Hellas took H3C bulbs which are hard to come by. Before the HID swap, the Hellas were barely noticeable against my HID head lights and fog lights. I'm getting rid of the whole set up though and going with KC Rally 800 long range lights with 1 Rigid LED bar. Mounting it all to a Mile Marker Winch Mount/Guard. Hoping I'll be able to fit 3 800s on it. The Rally 800s are SUPER long range, not driving lights, which is what I'm looking for.
