I finally got the light! Had to go to NAPA to get a bulb, still don't know the size! Not 174 or 168. Slimmer than 174. maybe a wee bit shorter. Took about five times removing and reinstalling the instrument panel, trips to two well known car parts chains stores then NAPA, and a little over $4.00. Of course I drooped a bolt somewhere n bend the instrument panel. I see I posted the first post 12/11/18. Only a month! Now to get the compass calibrated and instrument panel bulbs fixed in the CRV-- looks way more complicated though.
