Default Odometer light blown in dash....................

08 XLT SCREW SSB. Is it a light or maybe a fuse blown? All other lights work fine.

Thanks,
Bill

Thanks techrep. It feels really cramped back behind the dash, is it hard to get to the bulb?

Not to sound funny but when I first got mine I had the same issue. I don't know where I read it but try the old back hand method. Give it a smack and see if it comes on. My wife thought I was crazy but it worked. Good luck.

Take the cluster out.

Trim pieces pop off and there are only a few screws holding it in place, then undo the wire harness connector on the back. Fairly straight forward, not difficult at all to remove.

Thanks but it didn't work. I did however find this video on youtube.
Way too involved for one little bulb and a dealer would want a $100.00+ to replace I suspect. Mine will stay out.

Just take out the cluster and replace the bulb. It’s not hard at all.
