Default And now another issue............

Anybody want to buy my truck.?!? LOL.....Had the whole idle/stumble issue....put new plugs/boots..seemed to clear everything up.....Yesterday after a long drive, had an incident with the rough idle/surging again..cleared up and ran fine after that. NOW there is a very audible tapping noise from the right side......The cam phasers/timing chain have already been replaced by previous owner, and thinking now it might be the VCT Solenoid on the passenger side..sounds just like a lifter on an old school motor that is not getting oil...tap, tap, tap...........Taking it in this coming week....yet again....I'm not giving up quite yet..I've done sooooooooooooooo much internet reaserching...forum searching, etc.. that it literally has given me a headache........ .I've been a GM guy all of my life, and wanted to try to go "outside my norm" and make this Ford into a nice cruiser, but..............................................

Did you torque your spark plugs in? OE spec is 25-27 ft. lbs

A loose one will mimic a lifter tap.
