Default not happy with programer

My wife ordered a hyper tech programmer and a K@N CAI, she was so happy that see finally brought something I really wanted with out me having to do the ordering so I didn't want to tell her to get another programmer because I wanted her to feel like she did right, but now I realize this hyper tech is worth nothing because i don't feel no difference in performance,

What should I do? Tell her I'm not happy.

I have to agree. Tell her that the SCT X-cal is specific for that truck and the Hypertec dosent communicate properly with the truck. Tell her that the CAI is perfect now you have to get the perfect programmer to go with it.

I thought this was a truck forum not a politically correct one, so next time I'll make sure to spell check.

And being that I installed this programmer to my truck will they let me return it.

I had one of those too but I quickly sold it for an Edge. I used that for a little over a year, then sold it for a Xcal3.

Save youreslf the hassel and just get an Xcal.

Dude, that's a slippery slope there, you have to tread carefully. Tell her that the Hypertech isn't properly rated for your F150 and the SCT tuners are custom programmed for your specific model and modifications (i.e. your CAI). You should be able to sell your Hypertech and get what you really want. I'm not sure if they'll know if you've programmed your truck wiht it or not so not sure about being able to return. Good luck.
