my 2004 f150 4.6 80,100 miles had to have the alternator replaced on Monday. Only two days later now the idle control assembly. this is not a good week for my ford but oh well nothing $800 cant fix. At least it did not leave me stranded

 

This may sound odd but what were the symptoms of the idle control assembly being bad

 

very rough idle. still drivable but sluggish and would stall at times. mostly when parking. also had check engine light come on. then finally had a wrench come on.

 

bad things come in 3's. one more yet. j.k. hope that's all

 

ah man ya killing me! now I'm getting this rear end noise thats getting worse and worse

 

I am hoping that you're talking about the noise from your truck, and not from your person? :-)~

Is it just a noise or is there a foul odor as well.
