Default Normal Maintenance

I currenlty own a 07 V8 5.4L Supercab with about 47,000 miles. I'm curious to what maintenance I should prepare myself with once I hit 50,000 miles??

I change my oil every 4,000 miles and rotate tires every 8, also just changed my air filter. Do you reccomend a transmission flush?

Any other suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the maintenance manual? It is the best service manual I have ever seen. It is very detailed and very easy to know exactly what needs to be done at a certain mileage point.

Default Maintenance Manual

If the maintenance manual came with the truck then I have it. Bill - clean that break dust off your wheels before it gets caked on there! Offshore this weekend?

It's all outlined in your owners manual. If you don't have one (you should), do a search on "owners manual" here on this forum; there is a post that provides a Ford web site that has them (PDF versions) and download it.

Default maintenance suggestions

depending on how much you go offroad/wet roads, you might want to check your wheel bearings, just for corrosion and freedom of movement. its a fairly easy fix/ and inexpensive. if you have bad bearings it could be hurting your mpg. also i would recommend greasing up your suspension/steering assembly, i.e. ball joints, A-arms and connecting rods/tie rods. also when was the last time you checked your brake pads? as far as even wear and how much pad is left, you dont want to mess up your rotors.

all easy fixes that if neglected can cause big bucks later down the road.

Thanks diego! When I get my oil changed, they check my pads and they are good. I don't really don't do any offroad, just tyring to keep her running/looking good...it's an investment ya know.

Since I've joined this forum, I can't stop thinking about what mods I want to do. Since my tires are in good condition, I'm looking into exhaust's.

I do appreciate everyone's help!
