Default Is this normal on the front shock?

I cleaned the brakes today and rinsed the front skid plated off that had some old mud in but anyways...I noticed the plastic boot was lower on my drivers side than the passenger. Pictures attached...

The rubber bump stop is almost gone though it the yellow part that is all messed up. Its there for when your shocks bottom out to keep it from hitting the bottom hard. You might want to look into replacing your struts if they are bottoming out all the time unless you do a lot of off roading and that's why

I do minimal rough off-roading. Mostly, ease through the mud getting to and from the duck blind/deer stand. I've gone hardcore once back in FEB. I've never felt the truck bottom out before. However, I do want to upgrade from my Michelin LTX M/S, so you probably made up my mind with a leveling kit. I'll probably go Bilstein at the end of the year. Thanks for the responses, that's why I love this forum!

Mine is the same way, Driverside has fallen, passenger side it ok. I tried to figure a way to put it back, cause I'm **** about things like that, but never was able to.

I like my HBS kit but since your getting new struts id go with the Bilstein or the new rancho quicklift loaded. Got the bigger struts with new coils

Read a lot of reviews, and a lot of people including this forum really push for the Bilsteins.

Right, that's probably what direction I'll go in but another $300 will suck to pay (plus install) when I drop $1300 on tires!
