Hey guys I'm not sure if this is normal or not but it looks like it's slipping out does anybody else have any input this is coming from the 4x 4 actuator to the drive shaft?



Heres what im talking about

Perfectly normal that's why its called a slip yoke because it slips in and out with suspension movment

Completely normal. As the rear suspension moves up and down, the driveshaft effectively gets longer and shorter relative to the transfer case which doesn't move. The shiny spot your seeing is the normal range of motion. The piece in question is called the slip yoke, because its designed to slip in and out to accommodate the suspension travel.

Yep, perfectly normal. If you haul heavy loads often enough you would see even more shiny metal on that slip yoke.
