Default No speaker sound

I kept hitting my antenna very hard on a branch on the road I couldn't miss occasionaly , i have a after market nicer radio system . It was playng great for years. It was on when the antenna struck the branch and immediately sound was gone. Have checked fuses none seem bad . Can this antenna cause total sound loss or what should I check next.

By total sound, does this include music through the CD or aux in (if inc)? Does AM work?

Yeah.. you don't need an antenna for MP3 or CD's they should still work.

Just thinking outside the box a little but, perhaps it hit the antenna hard enough that it made the antenna wire jump or pull and it pulled something loose on the back of the radio or either it came loose from the antenna end and shorted out somehow. I Dunno!

Have you disconnected your battery and gave it a min and then hooked it back up? This may reset the system from a short or overload protector that got triggered. Worth a shot and I've seen weirder things dealing with electricity.

Hope it works out. I'd go nuts without mine!
