I have a 2006 with the 5.4 Triton 3V the truck is idling rough but not missing and has no codes but has zero power and will barely do 25 mph. It revs freely when not engaged but when driving can't get it to go much past 1500 revs It did get an engine light before I took it to a shop who diagnosed air intake manifoldgasket leak so I replaced these and sealed it just to be sure as well as changing the spark plugs, air filter and fuel filter. Now there are no codes but no change to problem.
