Default No power under load

Any help much appreciated. Truck idles rough but not missing and no codes and has zero power, will barely do 25 mph. Shop diagnosed air intake manifold gasket leak so I replaced these and sealed it just to be sure as well as changing the spark plugs, air filter and fuel filter.

To get better help on your question, you need to post the year of the truck, and its engine size. Posting the question in a tech forum is also your better chance of getting more views and answers.

As an example, if the truck is a 2006, then post the question in the 2004 to 2008 forum.

The General F150 Discussion is not intended to help with technical questions, which is why folks don't see much attention or replies to their thread.

I would have moved the thread to an appropriate forum section, but you did not mention the year of the truck.

Check the catalytic converters. That sounds similar to my issue when a chunk of the "pre-cat" material broke loose and lodged inside the 2nd cat. I could only accelerate under extremely low throttle input and then it was very slow. It would take me 2 or 3 miles to get to 40mph

Thanks I will check that, did you have to replace anything or just clean it out?

It was my old truck with 200k miles on it and we don't have state inspections, so I just cut open all 4 "cats" and emptied them. Then welded all back shut.
