Default nitto tires

now before everyone tells me to do a search i have and havent found info that i want.
needing a new set of tires for my 06 lariat, ive always liked the look of the nitto terra grapplers but not much info on how they do off-road. i really like the looks of the new trail grapplers but think it is too agessive for my daily driving. most off-raod my trucks sees is dirt roads and mud when at the lake and when hunting. any info yall can share about the terra grapplers how they do off-road would help a ton

They do fine in the mud. The extent of my off-roading is on dirt roads and driving on our un-maintained roads out to our hunting property. If you’re trying to build a mud rig, go with something else. If you just need a good all-around tire that will perform in mud, snow, rain and pavement, you’ll be happy with the Tarra Grapplers.

I disagree. I bought them for my 06 xlt screw this spring because they were the cheapest in a 10ply. The following weekend I went turkey hunting and drove through a spring time corn field. Nothing but sloppy gooey mud on top of frozen ground and I barely slid around. Of course I left a trail of mud on the highway about a 1/4 mile long afterward but I had no worry at all about getting stuck.

I love them.

You’ll be fine on Oklahoma dirt roads. We have land on the North Canadian river south of Henryetta. The county doesn’t maintain the roads at all there and they are pure slop when it rains. I have never had a problem on them, the Nittos are great in stuff like that.
