I know I sure dont consider terra grapplers as summer tires, they have alot of life in them but the traction on wet surfaces is horrible

They have gotten more pricey than BFG ATs. I have ran them on all my trucks for years now... I won't be jumping ship even if they continue to go up in price!

I had them on my 2010 for about 10k miles, and didn't have a problem, even in the rain. I just took it careful, and still had no problems stopping when some dumb b*#@h pulled out in front of me. There's a similar thread on the 2009+ side of the house, with all sorts of answers about how horrible the tread life is, how wonderful it is, etc... Best I could determine is that it depends on your driving style, maintaining them properly inflated at all times, and rotating them regularly. I had some 275/70/18's on mine, and I did notice a reduction in the gas mileage (about 2 mpg), even after correcting for the difference in the odometer due to the bigger size.

How do you change the tire size in the computer so odometer is correct?

I've had the stock continental tires, general grabber ats and now the nitto terra grapplers and they all have poor traction in rain probably cause of the lack of weight in the rear. The nittos I went with the 295/70 17s and they are great in the snow but suck in the mud.

I have some discoverer STTs I love how aggressive they look but my traction is horrible, cant accelerate too quickly or you will feel the truck slipping, but they are very low tread now almost running slicks haha, anybody have suggestions for good priced all terrain tires? I want to still run 33x12.50x17. btw I live in Florida and I dont drive off road, I just like the look.

General grabber red letter!!! I should have gotten those. They're a little expensive though

The STT's are a little expensive? I paid 330 each including tax and mount/balance. My rims are black now to complete the storm trooper look so I'd have to paint the red letters unless they come in white? Lol

Oh I was answering to your,"any good all terrains" question. The general red lettered ones are the ones I was talking about expensive.
