Default nitto terra grapplers

looking at getting a set of tires for my summer rims. noticed that alot of you guys run the nitto's im lookin at the terra grapplers mainly due to price. just want some opinions on them, i have read alot of reviews online about poor treadlife so i dont wanna spend $800+ on tires if they are not gonna last long even though they may only see 5000 miles a year at best. any input is greatly appreciated. planning on getting 285/70-17 if that makes a difference

They'll last you about 40,000 (dapends in your driving, im agressive and got 35-38,000 miles) + if you rotate them regularly. They are great in the rain.

I know the passenger (P285/70/17) dont last as long as the LTs (LT285/70/17) but you will have a little rougher ride with the LT tires.

Keep in mind the more aggressive tread is going to have more rolling resistance as well as a shorter wear life when driving on the road all the time.

I have Terra grapplers and love em. Been on the truck for about 20,000 miles now and haven't noticed any wear at all. Great tire.

I have general grabber at2s on the truck now they seem to have worn pretty decent. Wish I could get them in the 285/70. The nittos look like the same type of tread pattern so hopefully they will be a decent road tire

I just bought LTs and put them on yesterday and I was really surprised with the ride. I knew they were going to be a little tougher but it's just barely noticeable nothing like I thought they were going to be. I've been waiting for a while to get them and I'm excited that I have them on now! They look great!
