Default Newbie Question

Guys, new to the forum but just need a quick opinion. Looking at buying 08 Lariat but got some body damage to the tailgate and bumper. Dealer said he could fix it but I am a little worried he might try to cheat a little more money out. Let the dealer fix or take to body shop? I think the tailgate can be an easy fix but the bumper is my main concern. The driver side hangs lower than the passenger making me worry it might have a bent bracket. how much would be a fair fix price from you guys that know what's already going on. Thanks

I would take it to a Ford dealer and let them price the repairs. Then negotiate with your dealer (if he isnt a Ford dealer).

If he is the Ford dealer, then tell them to give you a quote which spells out what is wrong and what needs fixing. Then you can jump back on the forums and someone more knowledgeable than I can help you find out if you can fix it yourself for the cost of parts.

Good Lord, is that like a 5" block in the back, it looks overly raked to me. I can see the middle 3 pics, not the first and last.
