Default New wheels. Need offset help.

I will be ordering new wheels soon. I want to get the right offset. I plan on adding pocket style flares. So I need the right offset for the wheels to come right to the edge of those. Anyone have the numbers for this? I am going to use the stock 17 size since the tires I have are just about new. exact size in my sig. Any help would be great. If you also have this setup and can post pics, that would also be great..

Default Offset

I don't know what type of stock rims you have, but on my 06 screw they were 20" with a +44 off set. If you look in my album you will see my truck has fairly radical stance those rims are 18" with a-12 offset. 17,18,20" that doesn't matter so much that is just your own preference. What you want to look for in a rim is the offset. When you look at a rim think of the center of the rim as being 0 any thing to the outside or face of the rim as being a +# and any thing to the back of rim as a -#. The off set is where lug pattern in relationship to the 0 of the rim. Just figure out what your stock rims off set is most likely it is a +30,35,40 some where in there and any thing lower than that # will make your wheels stick out farther than stock.
