Default New U bolts?

I have a new procomp add a leaf for my truck. I'm wanting to put them on soon but I'm trying to figure out if I will need new, longer U bolts. Has anyone added a leaf using the stock u bolts successfully? Or are longer ones needed to fit over the increased height of the spring pack? Thanks a lot

I would buy new ones just in case. Worse case is you have to return them versus you putting your truck back on the ground and your bolts are not long enough and then having to find a way to the store. Work smarter...not harder.

Agree with Kurtz....and I myself would feel better having more threads left than a 1/4 inch. Hold the add a leaf under your current pack and look to see how much u-bolt you would have left.

Technically your supposed to use new ones because of how much torque you have to apply to tighten them properly. They might fit length wise, but might not be as strong as they are supposed to be since they have been torqued then loosened then torqued again. I replaced when I put on new springs.
