Default New truck

I have done lots of reading on the forum regarding the spark plug issue. Im going Saturday to look at a 2004 FX4 with the 5.4L. How can I tell if the new plugs have been put in? Anything else I should look for? Thanks a bunch guys...

After doing some additional ready I have found that the stock plugs tended to have white paint dots on them... Anything else to look for? Also, in general what else should I check out?

Default Plugs

Other than a receipt or pulling one out, sorry I don't know of any other way.

I have the same exact truck and love it. As far as what to look for, maybe the cam phaser issue but most if not all of them have the problem. It's a known Ford issue. Read the "sticky" about it or check out the TSB. Mine has the symptoms but it pulls and hauls hard every time and not once has it done me wrong. Just ask if he has any service or maintenance/repair records? I tend to be interested the most when it comes to changing oil on a regular basis or shocks, etc. Records are the proof. I always keep mine, it makes it easier come time to sell.
