Default New tire help

Its finally time to say bye to the Goodyear MTR's. I do very little offroading and the loud noise and rough ride the MTR's had on the road are kinda steering me away from a true all terrain. I want something that rides well and is quiet on the road but aggressive enough offroad for when i do go offroad. Right now my top choices are the Michelin LTX A/T2 or the BFG Rugged Terrain, any opinions?

i am running hankook i-pikes, they were on the truck when i got it in feb. i've put 20,000 miles on them and haven't even rotated them yet. they are extremely quiet,go great in the snow and did fine off road( nothing crazy tho) don't know how many miles were on them when i got em but quite sattisfied with them.

Have you considered Goodyear Duratracs? They are very quiet, look aggressive and have great off road traction. I've driven on both tires you mentioned above and I can say, the duratracs are not any louder in my opinion.

I just ordered in the ATTURO M/T, they were reviewed being really quite an comfortable on and off road. They do offer a A/T as well. Thy can be found on Amazon!!! Great pricing and free shipping. Here is a pic of the mud tire. They look like other M/T but for the price. Why not?

I didn't even consider the Duratracs, i had the Silent Armors before and those were great. I've also thought about Terra Grapplers but I'm not sure about those

Those are all good choices. I would let price influence your decision on those.

Back to the original two, what do y'all think of the Michelin A/T2 or BFG Rugged Terrain?

I had the A/T2s on my old 98. It was the only tire I ran on that truck after I bought it off my dad (I let him burn the money on other brands :p). I can't speak toward the comfort because that truck had the off-road package plus we beefed up the shocks. However, it was the quietest AT tire I had heard. They last a long time (can't remember how many miles we got per set). In the 10ish years I had the truck I put 4 sets on I believe and we hauled a 16' enclosed trailer a lot. Great tire, good traction I just want a more aggressive tread now and that's not very aggressive.
