Yes springs are seated in the isolators. I've heard they need grease? Or that that sometimes they get installed to tight against the isolator? I used a breaker bar and 4 ft cheater pipe so pretty sure it's tight enough. I work on tanks and that's how I torque stuff on those.

 

Apparently I had a bad isolator
