Default New paint for the plastic

After reading some posts a couple of days ago I went out and bought some Back to Black. It did pretty good on the stuff that wasn't too far gone, but it wouldn't touch the bed caps. As far as working with plastic stuff goes I am a little weary cause I don't want it to break but I went ahead and pulled off the bed caps and wiper cowl for some fresh paint. All I can say is what a difference a day makes. Went and bought some flat black multi surface paint (including plastic)and got it all redone and it looks like new again. The only problem I had was the push lock on the driver side of the cowl fell between the inner and outer part of the quarter panel so I had to buy some new ones. However, I fixed an old problem by screwing the middle part of it down to prevent the separation that I always got between the two halves. Thanks guys for all the posts I have been reading on here for so long, you have saved me some money because I was going to buy all new parts.

I will try to get some pics up soon, weather and work permiting, and hopefully I won't have any problems with the paint. I used Rustoleum multi-surface flat black, went with a decent brand hoping it will last and didn't want a shine.

I have painted some interior pieces and they came out really well and held up for as long as I kept the car. Not too sure about the exterior, but I am sure it would help.

Has to be better than what it was, the sun had turned it almost white.

how easy was it to take off the bed rails? I'm thinking of painting mine as well along with the tailgate top cap too.
