I just use my phone for nav so I didn't look into this too much but from what I understood you can hook up Garmin to it through your phone if you get the Garmin app. I know the app cost money and bet it also cost to have it connect to the unit.

Also debating on throwing the cash down for a head unit. Don't really care about the Nav too much but wouldn't hurt. Bluetooth also is a toss up. Xm radio is a plus for me. Haven't done much research on head units. Nice clean install to the OP.

I got a different model of that same radio from best buy for $89.00 due to a pricing error on their part. It was originally like $950, but instead of the ad stating of a sale for $899 they misplaced the decimal and I got it for $89.00. Make sure you do the update for the firmware from kenwood it fixes a bunch of bugs. Heres mine installed. Its an DNX-6190HD model. If you want to watch videos going down the road just take the green safety wire, and splice it into your ground wires or ground it on a metal surface.
