Default New head unit

Just purchased a pioneer double dimhead unit with the ipod/iphone cable in the back. Anyone have an idea of where to run the iphone wire other than in the glove box? Would love to run in into the center console, but the cable is way too short. Any ideas? Oh, I have a 2007 Lariat Supercrew.

either A buy a longer cable, or B splice the cable and do a jiggy rig type thing..If you're not comfortable doing this any audio shop will charge ya like maybe 25-50...

no tsure what cable to buy. Bought the cable that said was compatible with my head unit, which is the Pioneer AVIC-x130BT. Will need to look around to see it thereis anything longer, just haven't been able to find it. Or a conector cable that will extend the wire.

Be careful.

When I got my truck back.....10 minutes into my drive the head unit claimed that there was no device connected through USB. Went straight back thinking the cable had become loose from the back of the head unit. They brought it in and then told me it was a problem with the cable; that the manufacturer claims it's compatible with Pioneer.....but that in fact it's not. He ordered another cable and 3 days later they installed it and I was good.

I would talk to a local shop and see which cable is the best, so you hopefully don't run into the same problem.

i have a pioneer double den head unit. I have my Ipod/Iphone hook-up routed to my center console. But my stereo has a SD card to, so I bought a 16gb sd card and put all my songs on this. And now i never use my phone to play my music
