Default new guy here

hi guys i just joined and i am a new owner of an 08 f150 with 15 k miles and one owner before me i traded in my 01 king ranch f150 for it im gonna miss her but it was time, i had a my tortion bars cranked up on the old one to fit 33' under it, on the 08's can you do the same thing to level it out a little bit, i want 33's with 18's on this new one. and does a tortion bar make it hard on anything mechanically? thanks in advance

From what i have been reading and was told your better off just going with a leveling kit pretty easy to install from what I hear but I payed $350 for the kit and it installed

You don't have torsion bars you have to get the spacers.

This ^^^, so the budget or quick way to go is with a kit like Rancho QuikLift. It's a strut assembly that will net you about 2" in front; clearing those 33s you mentioned. Rough Country uses a coil spacer to the same effect and some kits utilize a rear block to raise both front and back. Figure $150 to $400

Search. And 33 foot tires are huge, then you go on to mention 18' tires...Baller status right there...

BTW, the stock tire size overall depending on trim is very close to 33" tall. Go measure.
