hey everyone juss wanted to say waz up
juss registered. just bought a 07' fx2 sport. loving it so far. fixing it up right now. just put line-x new tool box, in the process of a new sound system old rockfords wont fit under the seat. and juss bought a new grille.
looking to get some help on a question.
juss bought a 2 piece chrome grille that involves cutting and drilling the ones from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-07...spagenameZWDVW
(says works with all models......lies.......the fx2's all come with the type of billet style grill i have) doesnt have the plastic border that goes around the honeycomb grilles.
tryin to install now but the fx2 comes with a dark shadow billet style grille insert around the surround fiber glass. unlike all the other f150's come with some kind of stock honey comb grille. i need the stock honeycomb grille for the cuttin so i can use the black bordering around the insert so it fits with my new grille. was tryin to buy juss the plastic cheap insert from ford parts. there sayin it all comes in already assembled with the fiberglass that u have to get color matched to work wit ur truck. cost 250.00 or more just tryin to find the honeycomb plastic insert. been looking forever now. any ideas where to get this piece for cheap???
