Let me know what you think about it, do you have the 4.6 or the 5.4?

I usually run level 2 Towing. It gives you actual performance gains(where 1 will not) and I have seen great mpg gains here.

Here is what I usually do for Daily Driving and the other is my Performance Tune.

Level: 2 Towing (Daily Driving)
87 Octane Fuel

WOT Shift Points:
1-2: 5200 RPM
2-3: 5200 RPM
3-4: 5000 RPM

Conv. Lock Points: ( I actually have a different set up here, but this will work better for a general user )
1st Gear Lock: No Change
2nd Gear Lock: No Change
3rd Gear Lock: No Change
4th Gear Lock: -6

1st Gear Unlock: No Change
2nd Gear Unlock: No Change
3rd Gear Unlock: No Change
4th Gear Unlock: No Change

Shift Firmness:
1-2: 10
2-3: 12
3-4: 12

Rev Limiter:
5350 RPM
(Note: Needs to be at least 150 RPM above your maximum WOT Shift Point or you may experience erratic shifting).

Speed Limiter:
93mph
(Purely preference, my tires are only good to 99 so this is what I have my speed limiter set at, this will not effect performance or economy).

Gear Ratio:
I have stock Gears so no change here.

Tire Size:
2650mm
(My tires are 33.2" tall)

Timing:
+0.5°
(This is fine for 87 octane fuel as long as its good fuel not some cheap, never heard of brand. I'm talkin Shell, Exxon, Chevron, and Valero are all good).

WOT Fuel:
1.35

-------------------------------------------------------

Level: 3 Performance
93 Octane Fuel ONLY

WOT Shift Points:
1-2: 5350 RPM
2-3: 52350 RPM
3-4: 5000 RPM

Conv. Lock Points:
1st Gear Lock: No Change
2nd Gear Lock: No Change
3rd Gear Lock: No Change
4th Gear Lock: -6

1st Gear Unlock: No Change
2nd Gear Unlock: No Change
3rd Gear Unlock: No Change
4th Gear Unlock: No Change

Shift Firmness:
1-2: 10
2-3: 15
3-4: 15

Rev Limiter:
5500 RPM
(Note: Needs to be at least 150 RPM above your maximum WOT Shift Point or you may experience erratic shifting).

Speed Limiter:
93mph

Gear Ratio:

+2.0°

WOT Fuel:
1.65

Don't mean to hijack, but since the OP got his question answered, I figured I'd post here instead of starting a new thread...

Can you unplug/remove the programmer while the truck is tuned or do you have to return it back to stock first? I would like to pull the programmer whenever I go to the dealer.

Cool, I'll have to program these in tomorrow afternoon and run them later and see how it does.

I don't mind hijacking. I do it all the time.

I was just thinking, don't you have bigger tires than stock? Because I'm running stock tires right now. So will I need to change any of these settings to accomodate for the change? Or will the difference in tire size not change anything for these setttings?

If I were thinking about getting the chip should I get a cold air kit first?
