I've had them for years now and No moisture issues but the high heat from the HIDs does take a toll on the plastic lens causing what I can best describe as a crystallizing effect. That could be a concern with these aftermarket housings though. Just by looking at the seal on those things, they were a little stingy on the glue/sealant.

Finally got around to it. Added the switch for the LED tubes. I followed the diagram for the wiring and I don't even need to touch that switch unless I really want to turn them off.

BTW, anyone knows which spray paint color matches the F150 Interior Gray. I messed around and damn near took all the paint off my headlamp switch trim trying to clean it off wipe. it contained alcohol, I guess i'll read the label next time.

I took a whole bunch of pictures if that'll help. Inbox me your email address and i'll send you the pictures, wiring diagram, etc ...

EBC-150 is dead on with his suggestion of the DRL controller. (Less work)

Personally the only things I had to buy for this project were the lights themselves and the LED switch because I wanted to match the interior dash lights. By definition DRL is suppose to be on all the time as long as the Truck's ignition is running (Although some cars nowadays only turn the DRLs on when the car shift into "D" Drive), I felt compelled to add a switch to give me control over the LED Tubes. I keep the switch ON all the time though.

The rest were things I already had laying around in the garage.

Optional (but makes for a clean install)
- Split Loom (1/2" & 1/4")
- Zip ties
- T-Tap connectors
- Butt connectors
- Heat shrink tubing
- 2 Diodes (precautionary, not needed)

Needed
- Electrical Tape
- Electrical Wire
- 1 Relay

EDIT: Aaaaaand I just realized this thread was started in October of 2015... sorry folks.

Was only looking to replace the smoked lenses I had that crazed, peeled, and faded over 8 years. The DRL LED in the lights was an added bonus. No regrets pulling the trigger on these at all.

Sorry, I know this post is many years old now. But, I was wondering if these headlights were still around (maybe a link if there is one anymore?) and what the people who bought them have experienced with them over the years?

One of the lights started accumulate condensation inside. And rusted one of the LED lights for the DRL Bar.

I no longer own this Truck … sold it
