OK, heres the final answer I have found. I spoke with a BFGoodrich District Rep yesterday for alomst 30 min. The tire, 305/65, is a true 33x12. He said that BFG recommended that the tire rim used for this application should be b/w 8.5-11 inches wide. He said you can go as low 7.5, but the tire would wear in the middle, bc the bead is being brought it for a narrower rim than what is to be used. He went on to say it would fit, they wouldnt recommend placing it on a rim no less than 8.5, but it could work. My STX has a 17x7.5, and it would work, but wasnt clear if it would be safe. So, anyone thats been ready this Thread, hes the answer I hope you've been looking for, jus as I have.

I thought about it, but right now I cant afford an aftermarket rim. I called yesterday about the Dick Cepek DC-1-Black, but they said they dont make them in a 6x135. There hoping for by christmas to have them out. Honestly, I'm not sure. I do, but I dont. I might jus have to settle with putting the Pro-Comps back on there until later on. I'm really not sure. What do you think?

I myself would just put them on the stock rims.

Before I got into all this with the searching, and calling reps, I went to the spec page on Pro-Comp, and BFG, and pretty much, the BFG is .2 inches taller, and either +/- .4 inches wider. I'd love to put them on. I also have a leveling kit, and the 315 would fill up the fender-well, but I'd lose out on my tire foot-print. I love how wider the tire is, but for now, I havnt made up my mind. I'll probably decide next month, and when I do, I'll for sure hit you back, and give you a progress report.

Honestly, I feel like they'd work on my truck, and the only problem I see would be if I cut the wheel to hard one way or the other, it might rub the lower a-arms. My Pro-Comps do that now, but its not hurting the tires, nor the a-arms. It put a small polish mark on there. If you have any suggestions, feel free to drop them.

it doesnt hurt a wider tire to go on the stock wheels . its jus that bfg puts them on a wheel of the desired width and takes the measurements of the tire on that wheel it'll jus make the tire not nearly as wide on the stock wheels cause i used to have a set on my stock wheels and now i have 315 only difference is mine are 16 inch wheels

So now I'm curious, what's the biggest, but still safe size, you can go with the stock wheels?

So what is that? A 285/65/17?
