Hey, what's up every1... I just bought a 06 f150 4.6 triton , my first truck n I love it.....
I've been wanting a truck 4 about 2yrs now n finely got 1. I just put a airaid intake n throttle body spacer on. Now I have a whistling noise coming from the intake.....
Has any1 put the same intake n spacer on n had the same noise? N is that normal?.. thx.

Yes, it's normal to have a whistling sound if you install a thottle body spacer.

I have the same Cai and don't have any noise, so I would assume its the spacer or something isn't fitting right.

 

Welcome to the site, its just your throttle body. Its dirty. I have the same issue. I also run a aftermarket CAI and get the same noise. Get some Throttle body cleaner. That should do the trick.

 

Unfortunately, that throttle body spacer will do nothing for performance. Hope it was not too expensive.

Thx every1. I'm going 2 clean out my throttle body n hope that does the trick, cause I can't stand the noise its making. I'll let u now how it wrks.
