Default Never had this warning before

Driving along today and hear a "beeeeeep" from the dash and think, "Great, what could that be?" Look down and see this!

I ritualistically fill up every Wednesday but this week after 340 miles I was left with a mere 3 gallons of fuel.

Pretty normal for me. Im lucky to get 330-340 out of a tank this time of year. In the summer it gets around 390-400 though.

27 gallon tank and I fill it once a week.

Mine does it at 50 miles to empty, and every 10 after that!

I've never had mine that low. I try to keep it above half a tank unless I'm going on a trip. When the dinger goes off, how many gallons do I have left?

I was wondering if these trucks had a low fuel light.

I just had mine down to 1/8th tank and thought it unusual that there was no warning.

Doubt I will ever see the warning message, I didn't like the $120 it took to fill it up from there!

I've never seen the LOW FUEL warning message on my 07 XLT and I've ran my truck until the needle was right on the E in the fuel gauge. For a while I thought my truck didn't have a LOW FUEL warning or it came up within 30 seconds of the truck running out of gas.

About 50mi.... It depends on how hard you're driving it.

When mine goes off I usually put 23-24 gallons in it so theres somewhere between 3 and 4 gallons left in the tank.

It costs me well over $80 to fill it from empty. Cheapest gas around here is now $3.699.
