I would give kickers a try. I have 2 JBL 12" 1000's @ 4 ohms powered by an infinity amp in a single cab And all 4 kicker door speakers and I've never had a problem with the door speakers at all.

Please tell us that you didn't cut the door panels like that. But it sounds like you have a killer system

I actually broke my original door panel and got this door panel for free plus like 7 bucks for shipping from a user on here. It's a single cab so you can't even see it unless the back door is open which is almost never. Not pretty but serves the purpose. I would love to replace it, but XL's are hard to come by at scrap yards.

I hear that bet your system sounds nice. I'm running 1 JL 10 with a bridged pioneer 900w JBL components in the front and pioneer 6x8's in the back with a Pyle head unit

the only thing that doesn't sound good is my sliding rear rattling because the subs are right under it firing upwards.
