Not really experienced with the supercharger so I cannot help there. Are you set on the Supercharger or tossin it around?

If you are going to get CAI, exhaust, tuner, etc I would get a custom tuner. SCT would be my top choice, but if you want the edge PHP can give you a gryphon (edge) with custom tunes.

I have the AFE stage 2 and love it. It is one of the highest flowing CAI's out there, but the S&B and AF1 are both high quality CAI's that have great reputations.

Exhaust is all personal preference. If you want max HP gains, Deep sound, etc. I have the Flowmaster Super 40's because I like the sound and the performance is fine for me, but far from the best. Use you tube for sounds clips to help you there at least. Corsa, Roush, and Magnalfow, are all good. From price high to low there.

If you still want the supercharger or more info check these guys out, way more knowledge than I can offer.

I do not have dyno numbers with just the AFE. This is AFE, SCT VMP Tunes, and Flowmaster HP at the wheel. Not SC numbers, but good for me. I have newly altered VMP tunes after the dyno info, Troyer tunes on order, and a Gryphon with PHP tunes on it's way now. I will re-dyno then to compare them all. Trying to save dyno money. A better exhasut might get me 5-10 more hp, but I wont change it. Mind you this is 4x4 supercrew weight.

An SCT tuner (either Xcal III or Livewire) custom tuned by either Troyer Performance or VMP is the best way to go IMO. Troyer specializes in custom tuning F150's, but his tunes takes upwards of 2 months to receive. VMP specializes in custom tuning Mustangs, but does a great job with the F150's and his tunes take upwards of a week to arrive.

With both you submit the mods you have made to your truck and they write your tunes based on those inputs. Troyer is a lot more in depth with the information requested (4 sheets of truck information requested compared with simple data inputs on the VMP website) about your truck. I have both Troyer and VMP tunes and really can't tell much of a difference with the butt dyno other than I had to have my VMP tunes adjusted once I got them where the Troyer tunes have been great from the time received. That's not a recommendation for one over the other, just giving you the information.

I went with the Volant CAI, an Edge Evolution and cat-back dual Magnaflows on my 06 Lariat 5.4. I've not done any custom programs, and no dyno work ups, but with the Edge set to its performance level it really made my truck more fun to drive - has a better sound, more torque - really woke up that sleepy 5.4.
