Need Help for wheel fitting on 2008 FX4
I’m going to purchase either 17 or 18” stock aluminum alloy wheels for my 2008 FX4, which came stock with 20” wheels . I really need to know if these wheels will fit my truck. I can’t get confirmation on the exact size from the sellers and they are a considerable drive away from me.
I was told the 17’ or 18” may not have the right off set for my larger brake pads and drums.
Am I right in be worried about this? I would really like to know for sure if they will fit before I make the drive and purchase them.
Further, yes I am aware I could just put them on and see but I would have to drive 100 miles just to test them.
An easy answer would be that yes, any 2007 aluminum alloy wheel will fit my 2008 FX4 truck but I would really like to hear it from you guys first.
