Default Need help on tires..

My boyfriend's truck has the 255/75r17's on right now but seem to be dry rotting. What's a nice bigger size to put on without a lift? Any help will be appreciated!!

Thanks y'all

Since it has 17's on it I would assume that it is not an fx4, if it is not then you can go up to a 285/70/17, thats the biggest without a lift or leveling kit. Or even if it is an fx4 if he has 17 inch rims thats the biggest you can go. If they are 18inch rims you can up to a 285/65/18.

It is a fx4. I guess i'm wondering if it can fit 31's or 32's. If so, what would be the measurements to order them? I called a place but they told me 225/85r17 would fit but when i looked it up, they show to be the same size as what he already has on there. I need to know what the biggest he can fit on there without the tires rubbing.

(Trying to do this for s surprise) sorry if so many questions..

Default New tires

This website should help
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
it shows a 285 has a diameter of 32.7 so that sounds like what you are looking for....but it also shows that the spedo will read 5.3% slower. I hope this helps.
