Default need help with tire size.

i have a 2008 f150. my tire size is 255/70/r17. Ive been looking to get new tires. alot of places tell me thats not a common tire size and they run a little more $. anyone know a tire size that will fit my rim that is a more common size? looking to put all terrain tires on. thanks

My 05 had that size. When I went to get new ones I went with the 265/70/17. There were alot more options in that size.

either the 265 or 275 70R17's will fit fine and still be an alright priced tire. Bigger sizes will fit as well but those come with a bigger price tag and having to make sure you have a leveling kit or lift.

if your looking for a tire try the firestone destination at I got them put on a few weeks ago and am very pleased
