Ok so I found an Edge Programmer on CL for $100 still in the original box and only used for 1 month so I drove 2 Hrs to pick it up it was in perfect condition looked brand new the guy had it on his new 08 F150 but the truck wasnt big enough to pull his 5th wheel so 1 month later he traded it in for a F250 anyways when I first called him this morning he said he set the old truck back to stock come to find out after I picked it up and left he thought level 1 was stock. So my question is how much does Edge charge to reflash it and how do they do it do you have to send it in or do they do it hooked up to the computer? Also If I send it to PHP when they flash it will it revert it to stock? Because I was going to send it to them anyways and if it will flash it to stock I would rather pay for it once rather then pay both Edge and PHP dont you think?

I had the same thing happen to me two years ago, edge reflashed it free of charge, hooked up to the computer and was up and running in less than 30 minutes

 

Thats what I was hoping for thats why I kept it because he offered to give my money back but for 100 I would be fine paying to get it back to stock.

Yeah check it out this was the ad http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/pts/2161092766.html I would post some pics but I already installed it in my truck it works at least for all the gauges for now I guess I will call on monday and get it unlocked. This thing looks like it was never used original box all parts where there still wrapped up like new even the Edge stickers.

 

If you go to PHP's website it will tell you what you need to do to send it to them. I think it cost around $50 to change it over than depending on what tune you get additional $. There is some turn around time but it might be worth it to just get what you want all at one time. I love my edge best purchase I have made.

 

I am glad i sold my edge and bought a gryphon, its like going to the m series from a 3 series in performance

But getting the edge unlocked by edge to use for your truck is simple
