Default Need help diagnosing a possible transmission problem

Every time I lightly press on the gas peddle feel like a thud feeling. It's hard to pin point exactly were its coming from but I think it's from the tranny. It also has the same feel when I stop. I also feel a slight vibration when accelerating to about 55 mph. The truck is an 06 5.4 scab 2wd. Any help will be appreciated.

There is a basketball rolling around in the back of your truck.
